OneLife Church Chooses Studio Four Design for Renovation

Leading architectural design firm helps Knoxville church renovate newest campus

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. September 8, 2016 – Studio Four Design, a top architecture and design firm, has developed plans for the renovation of the new OneLife Church campus, located at the entrance of the Knoxville Center mall.

Formerly a Just for Feet building, the 19,000 square foot facility sat vacant for 12 years before finally being purchased this month by OneLife Church.

“We saw a great opportunity with this location to bring new life within this area,” said Pastor Rodney Arnold, founding and leading pastor of OneLife Church. “The community has been overwhelmingly positive about the purchase, and we’re excited to be able to lend our hand in helping revitalize this part of Knoxville.”

OneLife Church currently has two Knoxville campuses, one in Powell and the other in Halls that Studio Four Design has provided design services for.

“We came back to Studio Four Design for this project because of what we saw in them two years ago on a similar project,” said Arnold. “They have an understanding of doing what we, the client, need and want rather than pushing their own agenda. At the same time, they do it in a way that brings creativity and fresh ideas while understanding the budget restraints and unique vision and mission we have as a church.”

Because of their growth over the past few years, the OneLife Church Halls campus will be relocated to the new Knoxville Center location.

“We are excited to continue our relationship with OneLife Church as they grow and serve the communities they are located in throughout Knox County,” said Stacy Cox, president of Studio Four Design. “This new north campus won’t be just for worship services, as the goal for this facility is to be a unique resource for the entire community. We had to keep in mind how we could best utilize the space to allow for mixed use as well as meet the church’s goals for design, schedule and budget. The experience that OneLife Church offers through their ministries is consistent from location to location, and it has been an exciting opportunity for us to help them promote their brand across their campus facilities.”

Renovations on the Knoxville Center campus are expected to start immediately with an anticipated grand opening date set in December. The church is also in the early planning stages for a future West Knoxville campus.
