meet Stacy.

Stacy Cox, Principal, President, and Founder of Studio Four Design holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Tennessee and has been a vital leader in the growth and development of the company since its beginning in 2002. He prioritizes and helps cultivate an environment where team members are free to ask questions, solve problems, and consult with each other as they collaborate on projects. Stacy, when reflecting on the Studio Four Design staff, commented, “On top of their talent and creativity, I love the attitude and energy that our team has and makes coming to work every day a fun and exciting experience.”

His favorite part of the design process is undoubtedly the opportunity to develop relationships with clients. He reflects, “Through hearing their stories and learning about their unique challenges it is exciting to develop design solutions that accomplish their goals in a way that matters to them.” He is inspired by people who are passionate about making a difference in their communities and sees a parallel to the positive contributions that architecture can make in the built environment.

Stacy is an avid golfer, reader, movie-goer, and has recently discovered the fun and challenge of solving puzzles. When not at home in Knoxville, you might find him enjoying his favorite vacation spot, Hilton Head, SC. Stacy’s also dreaming of a trip to the Holy Land to walk where Jesus walked, and a trip to Scotland to play golf at St. Andrews, tour castles and distilleries.
