meet Aaron.

Aaron is an Architectural Designer at Studio Four Design focusing on thoughtful integration of conceptual ideas, technical drawings, and built form. He works on projects from start to finish and is not bound by typology, believing that every project type can benefit from knowledge of another. Aaron’s favorite part of working at Studio Four is how all staff are allowed to develop skills of their choice and how everyone is treated with respect and dignity.

Since joining Studio Four in 2018, Aaron has developed from a residential-only designer to a competent and skilled project lead for small to mid-sized projects of residential and commercial varieties alike. Along the way, Aaron has shaped many standard operating procedures for Studio Four, mentored new employees, and worked on nearly every facet of projects. Recently, he began leading Studio Four’s “Design Committee” with a focus on keeping people-centric design at the forefront of the studio’s collective mind.

Away from the studio, Aaron enjoys riding his mountain bike in the Urban Wilderness, commuting on his city bike, paddling the French Broad, traveling with his wife, and petting his (and other) cats. Aaron grew up in various towns in Western Kentucky and now calls the Oakwood-Lincoln Park neighborhood of Knoxville home. Aaron also regularly volunteers with AIA East Tennessee serving on the Emerging Professionals Committee and YES! Knoxville as a Board Member.
