Vision
The City of Oak Ridge has had a recreation program dedicated to serving the needs of citizens 50 and older since 1977. Now, they have a new state-of-the-art, senior-friendly facility for this purpose. The new facility is located near the current Civic Center building in A.K. Bissell Park.
The goals of the facility are to both entertain and maintain the health of Oak Ridge’s senior citizens. The facility includes a billiards parlor, exercise space, conference room, and multiple meeting rooms for seniors to use to fit their needs.
