Altar’d State

Altar’d State, a women’s fashion brand, was created to offer “a place of respite and a distinctive shopping experience with the latest fashion finds.” Since its founding in 2009, the Altar’d State team partnered with Studio Four Design utilizing our wide range of design services from early branding concepts to design of their many locations, including their trademark and logo slogan, “stand out. for good”, which was developed through these early branding exercises.

In addition to offering the latest in trending fashions, Altar’d State seeks to empower others: “We do this by lifting those who need a helping hand, volunteering our time to enrich lives, and extending the power of prayer.”  

Altar’d State’s locations immerse their customers into their brand through this integrated branding, architectural, and interior design approach. Rustic and reclaimed materials clad modern shapes, while thrifted and vintage-inspired fixtures and furniture unite generations reflecting the demographic of their shoppers. With every surface receiving such design attention, these spaces starkly contrast their fellow mall tenants. Now with 118 stores in 37 states, the women’s retailer has grown exponentially in its reach and influence. “Together we will change the world for the better. We will positively impact those who need it most. We will warm souls and create happiness.”
