With a growing practice and the desire to own her building, Dr. Marsha Hickey of Downtown Dental approached Studio Four Design for help in creating a new office with room for continued future growth. Because of the desirability of the original location, it was important for the new office to be in close proximity. Studio Four Design helped with not only project planning but site selection from the very early stages of development.

The new site required a creative approach to parking needs because of property restraints that existed with the corner lot. The design team took advantage of the unique location to offer greater visibility for the office and planned two designated lots for patients and staff. Dr. Hickey was drawn to the look of building elements found in a traditional downtown setting, like old, historic brick combined with new, fresh, and contemporary elements. The design team achieved the desired look with the use of solid white brick as the focal entrance piece interspersed with red brick and dark gray horizontal siding. With an appealing combination of materials, the finished building reflects the characteristics of a historic building with contemporary finishes and offers a beautiful space for continued future growth.
