Oak Ridge Senior Center

Since 1977 the City of Oak Ridge has had a recreation program dedicated to serving the needs of citizens 50 and older. With the realization that there was a need for an updated space to better serve this demographic, city leaders partnered with Studio Four Design to create a new state-of-the-art, senior-friendly facility.

The new facility, located near the Civic Center building in A.K. Bissell Park, is designed with the goals of both entertaining and maintaining the health of Oak Ridge’s senior citizens. The facility includes a billiards parlor, exercise space, conference room, and multiple meeting rooms for seniors to use to fit their needs.
