Protomet Loudon

Protomet, a Tennessee-based manufacturing company, has seen tremendous growth since its opening in 1997. Having sought the help of Studio Four Design for their first facility in 2004, they returned to the team for direction on a new expansion when they outgrew the original space and needed to accommodate their rapidly increasing staff. Despite its success, Protomet has maintained an unwavering commitment to the principle that clients come first and wanted their new space to reflect that value.

The new expansion included new windows, doors, finishes, millwork, updated ADA-accessible restrooms, and updates to electrical, plumbing, lighting, and data. Interior finishes reflect the company’s commitment to professionalism and high-quality services, and the exterior façade is complimentary to branding at the Protomet Oak Ridge plant. Exterior work provided the addition of accent metal panels, signage, canopies, and a new sloped parapet. With their core values, “selfless” and “humble”, in mind, the new expansion embodies those characteristics with the thoughtful use of open office space and warehouse that will benefit not only Protomet but Loudon County with new employment opportunities in a high-quality work environment.
